Dark Deception is a first-person horror experience that mixes escape and survival, putting you in mazes full of scary beasts. Instead you must continue to run, avoid and collect enough souls to escape each level, not battle. The game is fast, it’s frantic, and the chases don’t provide the players with much time for a breather.

How to Play Dark Deception?

You will be walking through dark mazes, collecting soul crystals and trying to survive the demons that are always chasing you.

Movement and Escape

Use the arrow keys to move around the maze.

Check the map and find an exit before you are trapped.

When monsters come you need to respond quickly to get away.

Gathering Souls

There is a certain quantity of crystals to collect on each level.

As you pick up goods, creatures will begin to mercilessly chase you.

The more monsters you get, the more pressure and pace of the chase.

Steering clear of Monsters

Monsters of different types move and hunt in different ways.

Some are quite quick, others appear to pop out of dark places.

If you get caught, you will be jumpscared instantly.
