Scary Maze is a horror puzzle game where you need to manoeuvre your cursor through little mazes without hitting the walls. The gameplay seems simple enough but the deeper you get the smaller the roads get and the more concentration you need.
The game's unique feature is the element of surprise. Maybe you are looking carefully for a way, and suddenly a frightening image or voice appears. Scary Maze is a lot of fun to play with friends, with a difference between fun gameplay and jump scares.
Each level is a tangle of winding roads and incredibly tight quarters. Players must walk gently and keep the pointer centred on the path and not hit the edges.
Later levels are usually harder, with more complicated designs, and demand more exact mouse control. The more distracted you are the more likely you are to hit the walls.
Controls
Move the mouse to guide the cursor through the maze. Be careful not to shake the mouse too much as the path can be very tight.
Making your way through each maze
Watch your step before you leave. When you go to a corner slow down and make the turn so you don't hit the walls.
Brace yourself
Because you're so caught up in the maze, don't lose sight of the horror aspect of the game." A big part of the experience is the unexpected jump shocks.
Move the mouse gently and steadily.
Cursor remains in the center of the path.
Take extra care when manoeuvring tight bends.
Until you can see the path clearly don't move the mouse too fast.
Don't panic if the mood swings suddenly in the game.
Scary Maze builds suspense without complicated physics. A little maze, a couple of tricky portions and some surprise jump scares are enough to convert what looks like a basic challenge into a very scary encounter.
